**POSTPONED** Visit to Nepal, UN SR on truth, justice and reparation
June 9 - June 19
The UN Special Rapporteur on truth, justice and reparation was scheduled to visit Nepal in June 2026, but this visit has been postponed to November 2026. The focus of the visit will involve assessing the measures in the areas of truth, justice, reparation, memorialization and guarantees of non-recurrence adopted by the Nepalese authorities to address the serious human rights violations committed during the 1996-2006 civil war.
