IACHR, Registration Deadline for Ex Officio Hearings – 196th Period of Sessions

The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) welcomes registrations for participation in the ex officio public hearings that will take place within the framework of its 196th Period of Sessions, to be held in August in Washington, D.C. One ex officio hearing will be on human rights of cross-border indigenous peoples in the Americas, and the other will be on the topic of hurdles faced by Caribbean countries to implement social reintegration programs for individuals who are deprived of liberty and later released from prison. Registration deadline June 20.
